Student Response Systems
Student
response systems are a great way to get all
students to participate in lessons. These
systems usually have enough responders for each
student in the class. Most are designed
like little T.V. remotes which are attractive to
students.
Most systems
allow students to respond to multiple choice
type questions during the lesson. The
responses can be anonymous or named depending on
the teacher. Teachers can also have the
system record students response for evaluation
after the lesson has conclude.
There
are several types of student responders
available on the market.
Senteo by SMART and
ActiVote by Promethean are two of the more
popular student response systems on the market
that work seamlessly with their digital
whiteboards.
